Very very Helpful at a time when I needed help,
Reviewer: A reader from South Haven, MI.
I was given this book during a crisis in my marriage, which is still unresolved.
This book helped me to more clearly see both my own and my wife's roles
in creating our problems. It has helped me to keep my balance and to minimize
the emotional suffering within all the family members.

Must Read For Educators and Everyone Else, February

After reading Mary Blakely's new book, "Why Not You?", I realized
that it was not just a must read for educators like myself, it was for
everyone. I could not put the book down! I not only learned so much about
my students, I learned valuable information about my spouse, my children,
my friends, and myself. Since the information is for everyone, I purchased
more books to give to friends and relatives.
As a parent and an educator, I wish all parents would take the opportunity
to read this book. How often do parents question their children about
why they did something? "Why Not You?" helps parents understand
why their children, as well as others, do what they do. The book serves
as a valuable interpersonal relations guide and will help the reader make
the connection with others that allows them to effectively communicate
and form healthy relationships.
Through Mary Blakely's book, "Why Not You?", and her presentations,
she is helping many people to create positive life changes by teaching
them to identify, assemble, and integrate the major pieces involved in
the whole picture of "Life's Puzzle". Again, "Why Not You?"
is a must read for everyone. I believe that Mary Blakely ranks with the
giants like Stephen Covey and Dr. Phil McGraw.

I liked this book because my child was having problems in school and it
explained to me why. It gave reasons of why my child had poor school work
and what I could do to help him. It also gave me valuable insight into
myself and my own learning. I recommend this book to anyone who has ever
been in a situation and asked "Why is this happening to ME?!"
I think we've all been there, and that's what makes this book so great.
This book is good for business men & women, parents, and ANYONE involved
in any type of relationship. It can teach you volumes about yourself that
you never even knew you should know. It's the rule book that all of us
should memorize! Besides being a concerned father, I am also the General
Manager of a rather large company. I will be able to use the lessons/skills
that are tought in "Why Not You" with my children as well as
my staff. It is absolutely an excellent book!!

"Why Not You" has changed my life! After reading the book, I
am more fully able to understand the relationships I am in, and the reasons
why I do WHAT I do! It's empowering to understand myself and to begin
the process of fully accepting myself. I began reading the book to get
a better handle on all of the other people in my life; to figure out why
they were always hurting me. After reading the book, I now realize that
the pain I have been experiencing has had more to do with my beliefs than
anything else. Thank you Mary Blakely for ALL of the valuable lessons!!
This is an amazing book!!!!!!!

Less than two weeks ago I finished reading the book "Why Not You?"
by Mary Blakely, and I'm thrilled to have found such a helpful and informative
book! I'm already applying a lot of her information to my life in all
areas. Her book has already proven to be most helpful in changing the
training methods used in my company. My sales staff have applied Mary's
information concerning learning styles and the six processing patterns
towards the creation of more successful presentations to reach all types
of purchasing agents. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Her insight
and explanations for why people do what they do are right on the money
and easy to understand. On a personal note, for the first time I can see
how to take control of my life and stop sabotaging what I really want.
An excellent book for anyone who is in business.

The more I read this book, the more I discover about myself. I find myself
constantly thinking about the material and how it pertains to my life.
Mary's ideas have changed my life. I have gained strength and wisdom from
the pages and am learning how to release my fears and see myself and those
around me in a more positive light. From her discussions of learning styles
to the control fear plays in our lives, all the topics really hit home.
I'm on my second time through it and I keep finding new things to think
about.
